How much does it cost to snow tube? Can we buy tickets in advance?

• $40 per person for 2 hours (all ages) Cash only (ATM on site)
• Sorry we do not sell tickets in advance. They must be purchased at the mountain. We do sell gift certificates. PleaseContact Us for further information on gift certificates.

What are your hours of operation?

Be sure to check out our Hours of Operation. Please note that Hours of Operation are subject to change due to winter weather conditions.

Do I need to make a reservation?

We do not take reservations. Our park is first come first serve.

Is there a minimum Height requirement? Or age restriction?

Our minimum height requirement is 36"!

Is there a weight limit?

• The tuber's lift has a 250 lb weight limit. If you exceed this limit, you're welcome to walk to the top.
• The tubes have a 300 lb weight limit.

Do we need to fill out a Release of Liability Form?

Great question! Yes!

We require everyone to sign a Release of Liability Form. Please fill it out and bring it with you. Or we also have them on site. If you are under the age of (18), please have the Release of Liability Form signed by by your parents or guardian.

Do yall take Credit Cards?

We are a cash only park. There is an ATM on site.

Will Moonshine Mountain provide the tubes?

Yes, we do!

Do yall make your own snow?

We do!

Do yall have a gift shop?

Be sure to stop by our gift shop before you leave! From sweatshirts to ball caps, there’s something for you to purchase to help remember your day of snow fun!

Does Moonshine Mountain have food and drinks?

We do! Our snack area and Food Truck will give you all the energy you need for a day of snow tubing fun. Have a look at our Food Truck Menu.

Can we form a “group train” while snow tubing?

Yes! Group trains are one of the most exciting ways to zoom down the slopes! Here are a few safety rules for group trains:

• To form a train it takes at least (2) people.
• You must be over 48" tall to ride in a train.
• Trains are limited to 6 persons.
• Arms should be locked around the ankles of the person behind you.
• Only one person per tube, please.
• Trains must be supervised.
• These simple guidelines must be followed, no exceptions.

We have a group with over 30 people. Is that okay?

We love having groups at Moonshine Mountain and groups are always welcome! We ask that you please Contact Us if you have a group of 50 or more so we can help you plan your event and give you the details of bringing a larger group to the park. We no longer have group rates. Cost for tubing is $40 per person (all ages).

How many times can we tube down Moonshine Mountain?

You can tube down the mountain as many times as you want in the two-hour time frame. We have a lift that will carry you right back up to the top of the mountain.

What safety precautions and rules should we know?

Thanks for asking! We put these rules in place for the safety our tubers! We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable time on the mountain. Below are a list of safety measures:

• All children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
• We ask that everyone ride in their own tube (this includes children).
• We provide everyone with their own tube.
• SORRY! No snow boarding or skiing permitted.
• Sledding and other forms of sliding are not permitted.
• Weight limit on the lift is 250lbs.
• We do have helmets available for rent for small children. Please feel free to bring your own helmet.
